Competitors
Congratulations
to Steve Graham/Tony Graham who finished 1st in class and 29th
overall on the Jim Clark International in their diesel Astra.
Congratulations
to Dave Walker who finished 1st overall and 1st in class
on the recent Loughborough Car Club grass autotest in his Mini. Giles Smith
also took part in his Peugeot 106, finishing 11th overall and 10th
in class.
Congratulations
to Ashley Woodward who won his class on a Hillclimb on 18th May, in
his MG.
Dave
Walker finished 7th in class on a car trial at Burton Dassett on 18th
May in his Proton.
Giles
Smith will be competing on his first ‘proper’ event, the Huntsman
Endurance Rally 31 May/1 June, in his Peugeot 106, navigated by Jamie Cooper.
Dave Walker/Chris Thorley (Mini) and Rob Stubberfield/Chris Faulkner (Punto)
will also be out on the event.

Grant will be navigating Darren Docherty in his Subaru on the Weeton Stages on
8th June.

June in Max’s MG ZR.

Woodward and Adrian Hodgkinson’s intended programme of sprints for 2008

Worth/Colin Stephens will be taking part on the Rally of the

Faulkner/Chris Thorley are entered on the Cloverleaf Clubmans Rally on 6th
September in their Sierra.. Alice Thorley will be navigating Chris Valentine on
the same event in a Peugeot 106.

Car Club have now adopted a Child Protection Policy. A Permission Form to be
completed by parents or guardians of all persons under 18 attending any events
as part of Coalville Car Club is available from the Clubs’ Child
Protection Officer Chris

The
Club Championship in 2008 has a new category - the "Highway Lighting &
Signs Cup" will be awarded to the best "All-Rounder";
members will score points for each separate category they compete in; i.e.
Stage Driver, Road Rally Nav, 12 car Driver, Marshal etc. Best score form each
possible discipline to count. Minimum 3 categories one of which must be
Marshalling, required to register a score.
