to everyone in the Club who turned out to assist running our Test on the
Huntsman Endurance Rally last weekend, Ashley, John and all competitors are very
grateful for your assistance.

On
the recent Loughborough Car Club evening Autosolo at Bramcote, club members
finished as follows:- Dave Walker (Proton) 6 o/a 4 i/c, Chris Faulkner (Sierra)
15 o/a 5 i/c, Giles Smith (205) 17 o/a 7 i/c, Chris Thorley (Sierra) 18 o/a 6
i/c
Well
done to Rob Stubberfield/Chris Faulkner who finished 16th overall
and 3rd in class on the Huntsman Endurance Rally, in Rob’s
Fiat Punto.
Commiserations
to Giles Smith/Jamie Cooper who retired their 106 on the Huntsman due to engine
management problems. Well done for getting as far as you did chaps!
Commiserations also to Dave Walker/Chris Thorley who retired their Mini with a
broken top hose and cooked engine.

June in Max’s MG ZR.

Woodward and Adrian Hodgkinson’s intended programme of sprints for 2008

Worth/Colin Stephens will be taking part on the Rally of the

Grant will be partnering Darren Docherty on the Tyneside Stages on 22nd
June in the Subaru and competing on the Scottish on 28th June next
to Tony Thompson in the Chevette.
Chris
Faulkner/Chris Thorley are entered on the Cloverleaf Clubmans Rally on 6th
September in their Sierra. Alice Thorley will be navigating Chris Valentine on
the same event in a Peugeot 106.

series of Grass Autotests and AutoSolos; the dates and locations of which are

& District MC are running the Armstrong Massey Rally at Driffield Airfield

The Opposite Lock Rally will run at Manby Showground on Saturday 19th

The White Lion Stages (a forest rally for cars 1400cc and under) takes

and are immaculate £60 the lot. He also has a deal on drums of Motul Oil, fully
synthetic 10w40, £7 per litre (£15 at tweeks). He’s also offered to help

Car Club have now adopted a Child Protection Policy. A Permission Form to be
completed by parents or guardians of all persons under 18 attending any events
as part of Coalville Car Club is available from the Clubs’ Child
Protection Officer Chris
Faulkner.

Alexander is looking for a contributing navigator for some tarmac/concrete single

The
Club Championship in 2008 has a new category - the "Highway Lighting &
Signs Cup" will be awarded to the best "All-Rounder";
members will score points for each separate category they compete in; i.e. Stage
Driver, Road Rally Nav, 12 car Driver, Marshal etc. Best score form each
possible discipline to count. Minimum 3 categories one of which must be
Marshalling, required to register a score.

edition of "Motorsports Now".
