Competitors
James Worth/Colin
Stephens finished 24th o/a and 6i/c on the Rally of the Midlands in
their 2.0 Sunbeam.
Dave Walker
finished 14th o/a and 9i/c on LCC’s recent grass autotest in
his Proton.
Congratulations to
Ashley Woodward who won his class and finished 8th overall on the
recent sprint at Silverstone in his MG, Richard Froggatt finished 14th
o/a and 2 i/c and Charlotte Froggatt finished 34th o/a and 3rd
i/c (taking the award for best Lady) on the same event.
Max Harley/Pete
Grant finished 83rd o/a and 5i/c on the Dukeries Rally, in their MG
ZR.
CCC members took
part in Rugby MC’s recent grass autotest; finishing as follows:- Giles
Smith (106 Rallye) 8o/a 4i/c, Dave Walker (Proton) 10 o/a 5i/c, Ben Heggs
(Fiesta) 12o/a 6i/c
Commiserations to
Pete Grant who retired on the Weeton Stages after the Subaru blew it’s
rear differential.
Commiserations to
Steve Graham/Tony Graham who retired their Astra on the Rally Car Show at
Chatsworth with a blown gearbox.
Pete Grant will be
competing on the Scottish on 28th June sitting next to Tony Thompson
in a Chevette.
Dave Walker will
be driving the Proton on the Wye Valley Trial at Ledbury on 29th
June, with Clark Robinson acting as ballast.

Pete Grant will be
partnering Darren Docherty on the Opposite Lock at Manby on 19th July in the
Subaru.

Harewood.
Rob
Stubberfield/Luke Stubberfeild are entered on the Bullnose Endurance Rally 30th
August in their Fiat Punto.
Chris
Faulkner/Chris Thorley are entered on the Cloverleaf Clubmans Rally on 6th
September in their Sierra. Alice Thorley will be navigating Chris Valentine on
the same event in a Peugeot 106 Rallye and Mark Stevens/Rob Stubberfeild will
be out in Rob’s Fiat Punto.

series of Grass Autotests and AutoSolos; the dates and locations of which are
as follows:- 1st July AutoSolo. 15th July Grass Autotest.

and are immaculate £60 the lot. He also has a deal on drums of Motul Oil, fully
synthetic 10w40, £7 per litre (£15 at tweeks). He’s also offered to help

have now adopted a Child Protection Policy. A Permission Form to be
completed by parents or guardians of all persons under 18 attending any events
as part of Coalville Car Club is available from the Clubs’ Child

The Club
Championship in 2008 has a new category - the "Highway Lighting &
Signs Cup" will be awarded to the best "All-Rounder"; members
will score points for each separate category they compete in; i.e. Stage
Driver, Road Rally Nav, 12 car Driver, Marshal etc. Best score form each
possible discipline to count. Minimum 3 categories one of which must be
Marshalling, required to register a score.

a supply of 2008 Blue Books from the MSA & a copy of the spring edition of
"Motorsports Now".
