Thorley finished 6th i/c on the Wye Valley Car Trial in Dave’s
Proton
Club Members took
part on the recent RMC grass autotest – finishing as follows:- Ben Heggs
(Fiesta) 10th o/a and 5th i/c, Giles Smith (Clio
Williams) 15th o/a and 7th i/c, Rob Birtles (his first
event) (106) 16th o/a and 7th i/c
James Worth/Colin
Stephens finished 24th o/a and 6i/c on the Rally of the
Dave Walker
finished 14th o/a and 9i/c on LCC’s recent grass autotest in
his Proton.
Congratulations to
Ashley Woodward who won his class and finished 8th overall on the
recent sprint at Silverstone in his MG, Richard Froggatt finished 14th
o/a and 2 i/c and Charlotte Froggatt finished 34th o/a and 3rd
i/c (taking the award for best Lady) on the same event.
Pete Grant will be
partnering Darren Docherty on the Opposite Lock at Manby on 19th July in the
Subaru.

Walker will be taking part on the SAS Autosolo on 3rd August in
their respective Fiesta & Proton.
Rob
Stubberfield/Luke Stubberfeild are entered on the Bullnose Endurance Rally 30th
August in their Fiat Punto.
Chris
Faulkner/Chris Thorley are entered on the Cloverleaf Clubmans Rally on 6th
September in their Sierra. Alice Thorley will be navigating Chris Valentine on
the same event in a Peugeot 106 Rallye and Mark Stevens/Rob Stubberfeild will
be out in Rob’s Fiat Punto.

are running their usual series of Grass Autotests, dates are 9th and

series of Grass Autotests and AutoSolos; the final event is a grass autotest on

District MC are running the Armstrong Massey Rally at Driffield Airfield in

VR15 Firenza tyres – they’re V rated and have a good 8mm tread wear
and are immaculate £60 the lot. He also has a deal on drums of Motul Oil, fully
synthetic 10w40, £7 per litre (£15 at tweeks). He’s also offered to help

Coalville Car Club
have now adopted a Child Protection Policy. A Permission Form to be
completed by parents or guardians of all persons under 18 attending any events
as part of Coalville Car Club is available from the Clubs’ Child Protection
Officer Chris Faulkner.

is looking for a contributing navigator for some
tarmac/concrete single venue events. Contact him at stuart165@btinternet.com if you are

The Club
Championship in 2008 has a new category - the "Highway Lighting &
Signs Cup" will be awarded to the best "All-Rounder";
members will score points for each separate category they compete in; i.e. Stage
Driver, Road Rally Nav, 12 car Driver, Marshal etc. Best score form each
possible discipline to count. Minimum 3 categories one of which must be
Marshalling, required to register a score.

a supply of 2008 Blue Books from the MSA & a copy of the spring edition of
"Motorsports Now".

A.N.E.M.M.C yearbooks if anyone needs one.
