Competitors
Dave
Walker & Ben Heggs competed on the SAS Autosolo on 3rd August in
their respective Proton & Fiesta; finishing 14 o/a and 3 i/c and 16 o/a and
4 i/c respectively.
Ashley
Woodward, Adrian Hodgkinson, Richard Froggatt & Charlotte Froggatt all took
part on a sprint at Cur borough on 3rd August in their respective MGs.
Dave
Walker finished 6th o/a and 4 i/c on the recent Rugby Motor Club
Grass Autotest (in his Proton) whilst Ben Heggs 10 o/a and 5 i/c in his Fiesta
on the same event.
Commiserations
to Steve Graham/Tony Graham who crashed out on the Manx International Rally in
their diesel Astra.
Commiserations
also to Pete Grant (navigating Darren Docherty in a Subaru) who retired on the
Opposite Lock Stages at Manby.
Chris
Faulkner/Nick Faulkner will be taking part on the Nottingham Classic on 10th
August in their Sierra Sapphire.

Stubberfield/Luke Stubberfield are entered on the Bullnose Endurance Rally 30th
August in their Fiat Punto, Giles Smith/Chris Thorley will be taking part on
the same event in their Peugeot 106 Rallye

Faulkner/Chris Thorley are entered on the Cloverleaf Clubmans Rally on 6th
September in their Sierra. Alice Thorley will be navigating Chris Valentine on
the same event in a Peugeot 106 Rallye and Mark Stevens/Rob Stubberfield will
be out in Rob’s Fiat Punto.
James
Worth/Colin Stephens are taking part on the Promenade Stages on 6th
September in their 2 litre Sunbeam.
Chris
Faulkner/Rob Stubberfield will be taking part on the Mercian Road Rally 20/21
September in Chris’ Sierra.

The White Lion Stages (a forest rally for cars 1400cc and under) takes

Motor Club are running their usual series of Grass Autotests, the final event

The
Club Championship in 2008 has a new category - the "Highway Lighting &
Signs Cup" will be awarded to the best "All-Rounder";
members will score points for each separate category they compete in; i.e.
Stage Driver, Road Rally Nav, 12 car Driver, Marshal etc. Best score form each
possible discipline to count. Minimum 3 categories one of which must be
Marshalling, required to register a score.

edition of "Motorsports Now".
