Weekly Bulletin No: 151 - 21st April 2009

We had a great turnout for the AGM & Awards at the New Inn last week. Thanks to all who turned up, and to Tina for the Buffet, she was most disappointed Chris didn’t take his usual doggy bag, as she had bought some large ones specially. Rumour has it that there will be a bag in the freezer next time you are there Chris.

Steve and Tony Graham competed on the Bulldog International Rally in Wales on March 28th finishing 31st O/A 12th in class. They were out last weekend on the Pirelli, looking at the Provisional Results they were 28th O/A & 9th in Class, but so far we don’t have any further news.

We have been asked to run a Selectif on the Huntsman Enduro Rally on May 30th. The Selectif is near Coalville, so very much on the doorstep. We will need at least 25 people, for Start / Finish and to mark Course Penalties. Please ask friends, relatives or any other responsible people. Signing on is at 14:15 128-393/192 , and first Car is due at 15:50. Could all interested parties if you could please let John Brindley know numbers and availability, aj-brindley@hotmail.co.uk

Chris and Alice Thorley are taking part on the "National Drive it Day - Half Day Run" in Chris Faulkner’s Sierra on 26th April, organised by Carlton &DMC

Rugby MC’s Chris Valentine is running a multi venue autotest, there will be some on tarmac and some on grass, the tests will not be memory tests with little reversing, the date is Sat. July 4th, entry fees look to be set very reasonable, let Chris know if you may be interested in competing or marshalling. christopher_valentine@goodyear.com

The 12 Car Series Awards will this year be combined with Rugby M.C.'s A.G.M. and Awards on April 22nd at Historic Motorsport Ltd. In Daventry. HML is well worth a visit if you haven’t been before. The Museum is a great venue and workshops always have something interesting to see as well. There is a link to HML on the Links Page.

The second Huntsman Endurance Rally will be held on 30/31st May, again organised by C&DMC.

2009 EMAMC Interclub Quiz. Executive Lounge at the Rolls-Royce Leisure Association Pavilion, Moor Lane, Derby, DE24 9HY, on the evening of 11th June

The 50th Dukeries Rally is running on June 13th .  - Lindholme Motor Sports Club have asked for Marshals on Clipstone South stage.

The Rally of the Midlands, is running on 19/20th June. Rugby M.C. will again be running Stages at Mallory Park, and Coalville Members are again invited. For historical reasons Coalville are not involved directly, but we usually provide a number of Marshals, as well as those of us who are Rugby Members.
