Competitors
Congratulations to Niki Hartley/Pete Grant who finished 57th Overall and 1st in class on the Tour of Epynt, 2nd March in Niki's MG ZR.
Club Members took part on the recent Mermaid 12 Car, run by Birmingham University Motor Club. Mark Stevens/Rob Stubbefield were 4th Overall in their Rover 25, Chris Faulkner/Luke Stubberfield were 7th in their Sierra and Dave Walker/Chris Thorley retired in their Mini.
Congratulations to James Worth/Colin Stephens who finished 8th overall and 2nd in class on the Bill Cammack Stages Rally at Manby on Saturday 23rd February, in their 2.0 Sunbeam.
Dave Walker/Chris Thorley are entered on the South West Endurance Rally on 7/8 March in Dave's 1000cc Mini, and are seeded at number 39.
Rob Stubberfield/Luke Stubberfield are also taking part on the South West Endurance Rally, seeded at 76 in their Fiat Punto.
Ben Heggs is taking part on the Ross Autosolo on 9th March, in his Escort.
Pete Grant will be navigating Tony Thompson on the Border Counties Rally on 5th April, in a 2.0 Chevette
John Brindley is intending to contest the D'ISIS stages at MIRA on 12th April in his Sierra, navigated by Tony “Tucker Wrongslot” Smith.

The EMAMC Inter Club Quiz Challenge hosted by Matlock Motor Club is 20th March 2008. It will be held at the Robin Hood inn, Baslow. Map 119 Ref: 279722. Start 20.00 prompt. There will be a free buffet at half time; if anyone is interested in making up a CCC team contact Chris Thorley.
Regulations are now available for North Humberside
Motor Club's North Humberside Forest Rally which takes place on Saturday 29th March 2008. An on-line entry form is available on the event website at

The Club AGM and Awards Night will be on Wednesday 16th April, at the New Inn, Peggs Green. Can all members who currently have trophies please return them to a Committee Member. Cleaned!
Coalville Car Club have now adopted a Child Protection policy. A Permission Form to be completed by parents or guardians of all persons under 18 attending any events as part of Coalville Car Club is available from the Clubs’ Child Protection Officer, Chris Faulkner.
Club Membership expired at the end of December. Renewal fees remain at £12 for single and £15 for family membership. For 2008 there will be a new Membership Form to fill in; so that the Club can bring records completely up to date. New membership numbers will then be issued. The Membership Forms can be found on the Club website.
Chris Faulkner is trying to get hold of / access to; a Steam Cleaner so that he can tidy up some rims before fitting new tyres. Please contact Chris if you can help.
Charlie Francis has found a load of old videos of F1/touring car races from 10-15 years ago and is offering them free to a good home. Contact Charlie if you'd like them.
The Club Championship in 2008 will have a new category - the "Highway Lighting & Signs Cup" will be awarded to the best "All-Rounder"; members will score points for each separate category they compete in; ie Stage Driver, Road Rally Nav, 12 car Driver, Marshal etc. Best score form each possible discipline to count. Minimum 3 categories one of which must be Marshalling, required to register a score.
Chris Thorley has a supply of 2008 Blue Books from the MSA & a copy of the winter edition of "Motorsports Now".
Chris Faulkner has A.N.E.M.M.C yearbooks if anyone needs one.
Chris Thorley has the DVD from the Motorsport Safety Fund. Available to anyone and everyone (but no-one has ever asked for it).
