MSA Marshal Registration Scheme

Hi folks, as you’ll be aware the MSA require all stage rally marshals registered as part of their sport safety review.

I’ve put together a how to guide for each of the 5 categories I can think of for people wanting to apply for a card. Any queries drop me a line.

Regards Iain

The categories are

1. If you've had a photo-ID marshal’s card before, but never renewed it online

2. If you've had a photo-ID marshal’s card before, and have renewed online in previous years

3. If you had a marshals card before (but not a photo-ID one)

4. If you've never had a MSA Marshals licence before

5. If you have a MSA photo-ID but not for marshalling (i.e. Race Licence, Non-race, rally etc.)

1. If you've had a photo-ID marshal’s card before, but never renewed it online

-  go to https://members.msauk.org/imissite/login/default.asp

- click “request a login” in the middle of the screen

- once you have a log in, log in

- and renew for 2016 but

- you won’t get a card issued without taking their online test (see instructions in (4) below)

2. If you've had a photo-ID marshal’s card before, and have renewed online in previous years

-  go to https://members.msauk.org/imissite/login/default.asp

- and renew for 2016 but

- you won’t get a card issued without taking their online test (see instructions in (4) below)

3. If you had a marshals card before (but not a photo-ID one)

- you'll need to fill in a paper application form with a photo attached, your MSA registration number will be the same as in previous years

- Here's the link to the form:-  https://www.msauk.org/assets/2016marshalregistrationform.pdf

-  fill in the form

- and send it to the Chief Marshal of your club (me in the case of Coalville CC)

- and keep a spare picture for your licence book, when it arrives.

- you then need to go to https://members.msauk.org/imissite/login/default.asp

- click “request a login” in the middle of the screen

- once you have a log in, log in and take their online test – they won’t issue you with a card without doing the test

4. If you've never had a MSA Marshals licence before

- you'll need to take their on-line test before you can apply.

- go to https://members.msauk.org/imissite/login/default.asp

- Click “Register with MSA”

- once registered return to the webpage above with your new MSA number “request a login”

- now you have a login, log in and take the test (it's really not difficult, and they provide plenty of reading material for you)

- once you've passed the test, print off your certificate

- then print off an applications form https://www.msauk.org/assets/2016marshalregistrationform.pdf

- then fill in the form

- and send it to the Chief Marshal of your club (me in the case of Coalville CC)

- and keep a spare picture for your licence book, when it arrives.

5. If you have a MSA photo-ID but not for marshalling (i.e. Race Licence, Non-race, rally etc.)

- your MSA number for marshalling will be the same as your other MSA ID so

-  go to https://members.msauk.org/imissite/login/default.asp

- click “request a login” in the middle of the screen

- once you have a log in, log in and take the test (it's really not difficult, and they provide plenty of reading material for you)

- once you've passed the test, print off your certificate

- then print off an applications form https://www.msauk.org/assets/2016marshalregistrationform.pdf

-  fill in the form

- and send it to the Chief Marshal of your club (me in the case of Coalville CC)

- and keep a spare picture for your licence book, when it arrives.
